Kailin Lois holds a master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy which she obtained in Paris, France. When Kailin lived in France from 2018 to 2021, she starting hearing about insane international cases that most Americans don't know. As a lifelong true crime addict, coupled with a fascination with how crime affects culture, including her love of travel, languages, and culture she decided to turn this obsession into a podcast. Hence, A Crime Story podcast was born.

Kailin currently lives in her home state of Texas. She enjoys dogs, traveling, cactuses, interior design, trash television, reading, and of course true crime.
